Material overview
Protective epoxy systems are selected for the surface and its operating environment. Immersion, chemicals, temperature and abrasion must be considered against the selected product documentation.
Applications and selection
Product-specific epoxy coatings are used on industrial equipment and surfaces for erosion and corrosion protection. A coating suitable for one exposure is not automatically suitable for another.
What to specify
Provide the product or coating-system specification, kit size and quantity. Include the substrate, exposure media, concentrations, temperature and immersion conditions relevant to product selection, plus delivery and documentation requirements.
Information for your inquiry
- Product code, alloy or complete epoxy system
- Governing material specification and revision
- Receiving process and equipment requirements
- Substrate and operating exposure, where relevant
- Required form, particle size, diameter or kit size
- Quantity, packaging, delivery destination and requested date
- Current technical and safety documents; required lot records
Documents and purchasing details
Identify the technical data sheet, safety data sheet and any required lot records in your request. Include packaging, destination and timing requirements so they can be reviewed with the exact material.
